PLACES TO VISIT

MONTERIGGIONI: As Dante Alighieri describes it in the Divine Comedy ‘For as with towers on its round rampart set Montereggioni crowns itself…’ (Inferno Canto XXXI). Today it is the same as when Dante saw it..

SAN GIMIGNANO: What more can one say about this world famous towered city….its medieval atmosphere still prevails even if only 13 towers of the original 72 are visible today. One must visit the city calmly and see all that it has to offer.

VAL D’ORCIA and SIENESE CRETE LANDS: These lands have an enchanting scenery, slopes designed with a paint brush and a extremely lunar landscape. There are cypress tress, antique farmhouses, hills of burned earth colour and quietness for the eyes. You must visit: Pienza, San Quirico d’Orcia, Castiglione d’Orcia, Montalcino and other towns. FLORENCE: We can’t not mention Florence, 75 km away. It is so rich of historic and religious buildings, museums and majestic palaces that one cannot come to Tuscany without visiting it.
